Many Level 2 EV charging stations can be plugged into NEMA 14-50 or NEMA 6-50 outlets that supply 240 volts.
EV charging stations can also be “hardwired” directly to the circuit breaker by a licensed electrician. Some are designed only for hardwiring and do not include input cables.
