EV Connectors in North America:
- J1772 is used for most EV models other than Teslas. In the longer term, J1772 is expected to become less popular, but adapters exist to convert J1772 to NACS and vice versa.
- NACS, also known as the Tesla plug. This connector is used by Tesla cars, and it will be integrated into other non-Tesla EVs post-2025.
