Drive Electric Week is a celebration of all plug-in vehicles all over the US and Canada, happening Sep 22-Oct 1, 2023. This year marked the 12th year of in-person events! Local EV associations and clubs take part in a coordinated national movement to host meetings to promote electric driving. On September 30th, EVchargerReviews attended the largest event in Canada, hosted by the Waterloo Region Electric Vehicle Association in Waterloo, Ontario.
Over 100 EVs and more than 300 attendees registered for the largest EV meetup we had ever seen. So many experienced (and new) EV owners were eager to meet fellow enthusiasts and share their passion and knowledge for electric transport. Events like this are a fantastic opportunity to learn from early adopters about their wealth of experience and knowledge about EV ownership, as well as any issues they have encountered. The drivers of EVs in attendance reported a combined 5,877,287 electric miles driven!
We look forward to attending future Drive Electric Week events and watching this positive movement continue to grow.
